What a clumsy fool (Chou)

Hai was walking through one of the forests smoothly though every so often a stray root would trip him up and make him stumble. He was getting better and better at not falling. He had less bruises but more scratches. He couldn't help his clumsiness. It came with being the runt of the litter. It saddened him a bit but he was determined to act as though nothing was wrong in the world. He would get stronger one day, he knew it.

Chou walked through the forest with a bunch of flowers, humming some tune. She was quite happy and in her own world when she came out to the side of Hai and bumped into him, falling on top of him and the flowers all fell in a shower over them. "Oops," she murmured.

Hai was just about to trip over a large root and probably would have hurt himself when suddenly a girl came from out of nowhere and knocked him over (proving that his reflexes and coordination were non existent) He landed safely on his back with the girl on top of him.

"H-hey... s-sorry I didn't look where I was going. Are you okay?" He looked over at the flowers and helped them both up and picked them up for her. "Here. I'm sorry. My name's Hai by the way"

Chou blinked at the guy and blushed, not having been so close to guys before. She was still pretty shocked when she was back to standing up. "It's my fault, I'm so sorry! I'm Chou, it's nice to meet you!" Chou said, bowing.

[Sparkling Star]

"Er..." Hai brushed the back of his head with one hand and held out his other. "Maybe we both weren't looking. Nice to meet you, Chou. That's a nice name...."

[Gyoro and Ururun]

"It's nice to meet you too...oh! Errr, th-thanks, that's really nice of you," Chou blushed. "Hai is a really nice name too."

[Sparkling Star]

It was Hai's turn to redden. "Thank you.... anyway... you were on your way somewhere" he said stepping aside

[Gyoro and Ururun]

Chou shook her head. "Nowhere in particular, I was just admiring the flowers," Chou said.

Hai smiled. "Oh... er they're very pretty aren't they?"

[Gyoro and Ururun]

Chou beamed and nodded. She picked a flower out of his hair and hekd it up for him to see. "Like this one!" Chou said.

[Sparkling Star]

Hai reached up and took her hand looking at the flower and a laugh broke from his mouth. "Yeah this one too..." he said. "I suppose I could pass for a flower child?"

[Gyoro and Ururun]

Chou smiled. "I'm sure you would be very cute! Oh! Er, I mean, not that you aren't now, oh, um, I, ohh," Chou flushed red, embarrassed.

[Sparkling Star]

Hai laughed though not at her. "Well... thanks.... it's okay I can tell you meant no offence. Though flowers often make people look lovelier..." He picked up a flower. He held it away from Chou. "Lovely..." he said then put it in her hair. "Lovelier"

Chou blushed and shook her head. "Oh no, I'm not that--" Chou flustered. She wasn't used to such words from strangers.

"Yes you are, you are very lovely" Hai laughed and picked up the rest of the flowers

"You're very kind," Chou smiled bashfully. She started helping him with the flowers, happy that not all of them were ruined.

Once they were all collected Hai took a good look at Chou.

She seemed so beautiful, inside and on the outside but he knew he ought to be careful as anyone could pretend to be nice

Chou noticed him staring at her and dropped her head, hiding her blush. She wondered why he was staring so much. "So, um, are you from around here?" She asked.

Hai realised he was staring. "Oh sorry..." He looked away. "Er no I'm from Dematraxos.... are you from here?" She had to be. Everything here was as lovely as she was

[Gyoro and Ururun]

"Dematraxos? That sounds interesting, but I don't know anything other than Arco Iris...I haven't left this planet before...mum won't allow it, she says it would be too dangerous," Chou said. She nodded. "I'm from the main city."

[Sparkling Star]

"Dematraxos can be quite dangerous so I can see where your mother's coming from" said Hai sympatheticall

[Gyoro and Ururun]

Chou shook her head. "Travelling in general would be too dangerous," Chou said. "But I hope that one day I will be allowed."

Hai looked at her. "Are you not permitted to explore?" he asked. He couldn't imagine that but then he was the runt of the litter, no one cared what he did.

Chou dropped her face, a little embarrassed. "Um...no, I...er...I am a Princess..." Chou murmured softly.

[Sparkling Star]

Hai's eyes went so wide and he swept into a rather clumsy bow. "Oh... pleased to meet you" he said though he figured some royals didn't like all that stuttering stuff.
