Dreaming of of the stars

Tamsyn walked through the park in her little English town; she'd been in this town for a few years now. Her parents always moved around since they were in the Rebellion, though she wasn't too fussed herself. She was a really nice person and helped people she could, but she wasn't sure arguing with the Gods was such a good idea.

She sat down on a bench and looked up at the sky; would she visit anywhere but Earth?

Halo appeared at the end of some street, rubbing dirt off her elbows and knees. Oh, how she hated the Sins. She'd known not to take one on without another Virtue; but her stubborness had proven her near-downfall, one again. Cursing, she made her way through the random town she'd hastily teleported to, admiring the architecture and quaint feel to the place. Europe, Earth - one of the more undeveloped places, she mused. You could tell in the way the buildings were built.

But she wanted to know exactly where she was. Walking on for a while, she spotted a young girl, seemingly stargazing. Her eyes lit up and she ran over.

"Hey! Hey you~~" she yelled. Standing in front of the girl, she wondered if she should of changed first. Maybe this town remained a little suspicious of other planets. She knew there was still places like that. Well, Halo didn't look too alien. Choppy, short brown hair, a tank-top and 3/4 pants, walking boots. A little bit of dirt, but she could explain that if the girl was freaked out by it.

"Do you know where I am?" Halo asked, smiling, not really realising how weird the question sounded.

Tamsyn was brought out of her daydreaming and she looked at the girl before her. She looked like she had been through some crazy stuff. Probably been adventuring the woods around here.

"Oh, er, you're in Frodsham, not far from Chester," Tamsyn said. She wondered how you could not know where you were, oh, but if she had been drunk...hmmm.

[Jess]

"Thanks!" Halo said, looking around curiously. "Boring place huh? You ever set off fireworks? It'd colour up this place good."

She walked in a small circle, surveying the immediate area around them. "You lived here your whole life? What's your name?"

Tamsyn frowned a little; this girl was rather rude. "On special occasions, yes," she replied shortly.

"No, we move around a lot," Tamsyn said. "Tamsyn. Yourself?"

[Jess]

"Halo~ Halo Huy." she nodded. She noticed the girl's expression and sighed. "Have I hurt your feelings? I'm sorry. I'm way too blunt. My friends say that I talk too much without thinking. It's just I'm more a city person, y'know?"

"Halo...interesting name..." Tamsyn said. She shook her head. "I just disagree with you, it's not boring, it's actually quite a nice place. Especially during the night when the stars are out."

[Jess]

"It's because I'm a Virtue!" Halo nodded. "I discarded my old name for one that suited my oh-so-amazing title."

She laughed; she wasn't serious, she took being a Virtue as normal now. Looking up at the stars, she nodded in agreement with Tamsyn.

"The stars are very pretty. You can hardly see them on Tera anymore..."

Tamsyn looked at her weirdly. "Virtue?" Tamsyn asked.

"Oh, you're a traveller then?" Tamsyn asked. She had heard of Tera through her parents.

[Jess]

"Yup! A Virtue." Halo nodded. She felt a little surprised that she didn't know of them; yet then again, Earth could be so isolated at times. "There are twelve of us, each representing a beautiful quality. We represent those qualities and are bringers of good. I'm the Virtue of Determination."

She nodded. "We Virtues are Immortal, so I guess we're travellers by default."

Tamsyn nodded, smiling. "Sounds nice. It's good that there are people with such qualities in them," Tamsyn said. "Travelling must be fun, seeing all that out there."

[Jess]

Halo nodded. "I can't imagine not having the freedom I've had in my life. I hardly remember being human."

And then she turned to face her again. "In fact, I can't remember the last time I even talked to a human. Strange."

Tamsyn looked up again. "I can imagine it would be strange," Tamsyn said. "Can you tell me about some of the good things you've seen out there?"

Halo nodded.

"Sure." she replied happily. "What would you like to know?"
