A difficult visit

[Gyoro and Ururun]

Sairou knew he would need to let all of his close friends know of what was happening and Aya was someone he really needed to tell. He appeared outside of her house and knocked on the door. Unlike the last visit, he was wearing white, which was his version of sombre clothing.

Aya was in the house on her own, well semi alone. Hari and Sora were in the garden but had fallen asleep. She came downstairs in pink pyjamas and bunny slippers with her hair full of ribbons and glitter. She had come home yesterday but told to rest. She went to the door and opened it, brightening immediately.

"SAIROU!"

Sairou managed a warm smile. "Aya, you're looking better," Sairou said, instantly taking her up into her arms so much so that she could wrap her legs aroun his waist, which wouldn't be something unusual. He let himself in and shut the door. "How are you, my princess?"

Aya's legs did encircle his waist happily as she snuggled up to him. "Oh Sairou I missed you..." She hugged him happily. "I'm feeling better. How about you, Sairou?"

[Gyoro and Ururun]

"Hmmm, long story. That's why I'm here," Sairou said.

He started explaining it, in a way that wouldn't scare her too much.

Aya jumped down and looked up at him with big slowly more saddening eyes but surprisingly she didn't start bawling. That wouldn't make Sairou feel better. The tears flowed silently down her cheeks instead and she hugged him tightly. "So you'll get your memories back then? One day?" Aya asked. "Maybe.... we could make friends again whilst you can't remember...?" she asked childishly.

Sairou hugged her back, going so far as to kneel down so he could kiss her cheek. "Aya, of course we can! I'm leaving myself notes so that I will come back and love you no matter what, ok? I'll just be a lot less serious and probably a bit of a child myself," Sairou said. "Just make sure to look after yourself, ok?"

"Oh, and never make wishes...and don't talk to strange boys..." Sairou said. He wanted to protect her from the horrors Ciara had faced. He couldn't save her, but maybe he could save Aya. "Never go out without your brothers, ok? I know it's probably silly of me to make these warnings, but another friend of mine...who's also like a sister to me...she's had a lot of hurt, and she isn't much older than you..." He was terrified. He would definitely warn her brothers.

[Sparkling Star]

Aya nodded. "I will look forward to your visits then" she said in a wobbly voice. She smiled at him. "We can go shopping again" she said brightly.

She listened to his warnings. "I promise I will try my best to avoid all that" she said as that was one promise she could definitely keep. "Besides Dematraxos is quite dangerous at times. Some Shadow Demons made it all the way to Pande the other night"

[Gyoro and Ururun]

Sairou held her closer. "Then you must definitely keep out of trouble, I don't want my Aya getting hurt," Sairou said, before lifting her up into the air playfully, bride style.

[Sparkling Star]

Aya playfully shrieked and laughed as Sairou picked her up. "Okay okay I will be extra careful"

[Gyoro and Ururun]

"Good, because you deserve only the best, but I want you to treasure your childhood, it only happens once," Sairou smiled. He wanted everyone to have a better childhood than him.

[Sparkling Star]

Aya smiled understandingly. "Okay" she said hugging and then kissing Sairou on both cheeks.

Sairou gently moved her around in circles, like he was dancing with her. He started singing too.

Aya started singing along, recognising the tune. She had a nice voice but only really sang around Sairou

Sairou put her down gently so that they could hold hands together and dance, whilst singing in tune.

Aya squeezed his hands and sang along smiling up at him

He span her around gently and dipped her, laughing with her and forgetting the sorrow for the time being.

"Heeeeheeee!" Aya giggled as she was dipped. She loved that head rush feeling and she took Sairou's hand. "Would you like to watch a romantic film with me?" she asked. "It's very funny"

[Gyoro and Ururun]

"Would I ever! I love romantic films!" Sairou gushed, spinning her around and grinning.

Aya set up the film and sat down with her arms wrapped around her knees.

Sairou sat and pulled Aya into his lap, feeling very much happy being able to watch a romance with her.

Aya giggled and snuggled into his lap, tucking her head beneath his chin and starting the film. However it ended up being a home video of toddler Aya which had survived thanks to an old relative. Katsuro must have carelessly got the videos muddled up.

Aya sat there blinking.

Toddler Aya was toddling about in a pink dress and waving a magic wand. She couldn't have been more than two. She started waving the wand at flowers.

"Magic flowers" she said cutely

Sairou's face broke into a wide smile. "Awwww, you were so adorable," Sairou said, snuggling her closer. "Magical Aya."

[Sparkling Star]

Aya blushed and snuggled closer.

Toddler Aya clapped her hands and looked out the window. The tape followed her and one could see Sairou in the distance. The tape focused on Aya';s utterly curious and awestruck face.

"Pretty colours..." the toddler said dreamily. "Pretty colours! Pretty colours! Pretty colours!" she squealed. "Rainbow man! Rainbow man!" She watched Sairou pass and her face fell. "Where Rainbow man go?" she asked as he vanished from sight. She looked disappointed. "Come back Rainbow man!" she called but then got a pouty expression and big teary eyes along with wobbly lips.

Aya looked up. "Oh my god"

Sairou blinked. "Oh, wow...wow, small world, I can't believe I missed the chance to meet toddler you!" Sairou said, cuddling her. "Aww, but I made you cry. I'm sorry."
